Eat light meals
Whenever we eat large meals, our stomach would have to secrete large amounts of acids to breakdown food. This could increase even more if we consume foods that are fatty, citrusy, spicy, fibrous, or tomato-based.
The most logical solution is to cut back on the usual amount of food we eat. Eating small, frequent meals will not only help decrease stomach acid production, but it also facilitates proper digestion to prevent acid reflux.
Use pure honey to heal ulcers and Helicobacter pylori infection
Experts say that hyperacidity is due to an infection caused by the bacteria Helicobacter pylori, which you could get from utensils, water, and food. When this bacteria enters your body and goes to your stomach, it attacks the lining that’s responsible for protecting it from digestive acids. Without it, sores or ulcers form.
Depending o the variety, honey is able to fight off Helicobacter pylori. Some brands of honey that have the highest activity against this type of bacteria are Black Forest and Langnese. 
A study has shown that drinking a warm honey solution (50 gm of honey combined with 100 ml of water at 35 to 40°C) one hour or an hour and a half after eating and one hour before bedtime could help neutralize excess stomach acids. Honey seems to have an alkaline effect that lasts approximately 45 minutes. 
Drink aloe vera juice
Aloe vera is great for the digestive system. It improves digestive function and cleanses the digestive tract due to its laxative effect. People also use it for indigestion, heartburn, flatulence (releasing gas), and intestinal cramps.
The belief is it’s able to block histamine, which is what most anti-hyperacidity drugs do. In one animal study, results showed that it prevents gastric acid secretion and protects the lining of the digestive tract at low concentrations. 
People usually mix concentrated aloe vera juice with other juices for easy absorption. Some of the possible side effects of aloe vera juice are stomach cramps, diarrhea (which could cause poor absorption of meds), and low blood sugar levels.
Drink chamomile tea between meals
Chamomile tea has long been a favorite traditional remedy for various gastrointestinal problems, including diarrhea, vomiting, nausea, intestinal gas, and motion sickness. It also has activities against inflammation and spasms thanks to its various volatile oils, flavonoids, and quercetin, and other compounds.
Preclinical trials also suggest that it might also have activities against Helicobacter pylori.  Aside from that, traditional medicine practitioners believe that chamomile flowers contain mucilages (slimy substances) that shield the gastrointestinal tract from excessive acid.
Preparation: Mix 1 teaspoon of dried chamomile with 8 ounces (1 cup) of freshly boiled water. Allow to steep for 15 minutes then strain it. Drink up to four times a day.
Turmeric might eradicate Helicobacter pylori
Turmeric is a good alternative remedy for different digestive problems. In China and India, it has been used for centuries in treating indigestion, gastritis (stomach lining inflammation), and excessive stomach acids.
Opinions are conflicting when it comes to its ability to ease stomach acidity. Some studies say it could make ulcers and hyperacidity worse. However, in one clinical trial, researchers found out that turmeric might be a potent treatment against Helicobacter pylori infection.  This could be due to its active ingredient called curcumin.
Turmeric is available in powder, extract, and tincture forms. Before you take this, make sure to talk to your doctor first. This could increase the effect of anti-diabetes medications and could causea stomach upset and ulcers if taken in large doses for longer periods.
Get a full night’s sleep
Lack of sleep could also trigger a hyperacidity in some people. When we’re awake, our stomach secretes increased amounts of acids. However, when we’re deeply sleeping, it secretes significantly lower acids. 
In one animal study, researchers found out that rats that were partially sleep deprived for 1 to 2 weeks suffered from increased gastric acidity and damaged gastrointestinal lining.  If this happens, your stomach would literally digest itself.
The main point: If you suffer from hyperacidity, don’t make it worse by depriving yourself of sleep. Since hyperacidity also leads to heartburn, make sure you sleep on your left side with your upper body elevated using a wedge pillow.
It seems acupuncture is an effective alternative treatment for excessive gastric acid production. Study shows that it helped duodenal ulcer sufferers get rid of pain by decreasing gastric hyperacidity.  The “sweet healing spot” is just below the knees or the E36 Zu San Li acupuncture point.
Here’s the thing, though. The duration of the therapy seems to influence the results. If it lasts 20 minutes, it could worsen acid production. However, if it lasts 40 minutes, it stops acid production.

Apple cider vinegar (ACV)
