Causes of Receding Gums

While doing so, make sure to suck the oil through between your teeth. Also, ensure it swivels around your gums and tongue. You need to do this for 10 to 15 minutes each time.
Gently massage your gums with clove oil for a few minutes. You can do this three times per day. It’s especially good to do this after your meals. Make sure to talk to your doctor first to make sure using clove oil will be safe for you if you’re on a blood clotting medication. It’s possible that he or she will advise against it. if you don’t have clove oil, you can chew a clove instead. Do this after meals.
Eucalyptus oil has anti-inflammatory properties that will be helpful for your gums. The oil must be diluted with water, as it will be too strong otherwise. Dilute one or two drops of eucalyptus oil with two tablespoons of water. Mix this. Massage it into the gums with a soft-bristled toothbrush or your fingers. Do this for a few minutes. Mix four drops of tea tree oil, half a teaspoon of myrrh tincture, two teaspoons of baking soda, four drops of your choice of lemon, peppermint, or cinnamon essential oil, one-eighth of a teaspoon of stevia, and one cup of water. You can use this every day.
Lemon essential oil:
Dilute lemon oil with water or coconut oil. Use this as an occasional mouthwash. Lemon oil will be beneficial because of its antibacterial properties. Don’t use this every day, however, as the acidity of the lemon could eventually harm your enamel.
Lemon juice and olive oil:
Lemon is anti-bacterial and could help stimulate the gums, possibly promoting gum tissue growth. Don’t use this too much, though, as the acidity of the lemon can compromise tooth enamel over time. You’ll need the juice of one half of a fresh lemon and half a cup of olive oil. Put the oil in a jar, and then mix in the lemon juice.
After putting the lid on, shake the jar thoroughly. Put the jar in a cool, dry, and shady place. Leave it for three weeks, remembering to shake it once a day. You can begin to use the oil after the three weeks have passed. Use your finger or toothbrush to apply a bit to your gums.
